Nomusa Mtshali

Mtshali is a full-time, contemporary artist born, raised and bred in Durban South Africa. Musa is a mixed media artist with skills varying from painting, sculpting, Installations and performance. Exhibited with a New York Gallery Proto Gomerz 1-25 April 2021.

Mtshali is currently in an artist residency at Greatmore studios in Cape Town. Part of a group exhibition at Zeitz Mocca titled ‘HOME IS WHERE THE ART IS’. In late 2019 their artworks were acquisitioned by the National Museum the agency of the Department of Art and Culture, also known as ARTBANK South Africa.

They are part of a group exhibition titled “Becoming: what is and what is not” at Oliewenhuis Art Museum as part of Artbank South Africa new acquisitions. Concurrently Mtshali will be exhibiting in the group show at Greatmore Artist studio’s in Capetown, titled “When Waters Brake”.

Musa graduated with the Fine Art B-tech at Durban University of Technology. Musa has worked professionally in the Art industry since 2008.
